Barry Sheene on Ian Telfer's 1962 Manx Norton shows Mick Hemmings on his McIntyre Matchless G50 the line through Madgwick. Barry Sheene won the Lennox Cup race in brilliant style on the Sunday. In the pouring rain Sheene's aquaplaning power slides were a wonder to behold. We were all totally mad on bikes, believing we were immortal, in our late teens but there is no doubt - Sheene still is. The difference is, he actually manages to stay on.
