Duncan Ricketts in the E.R.A. E-Type leads Frank Sytner out of Madgwick struggling hard to stay ahead in the wet. Despite a spin later in the session Ricketts qualified 1.205 seconds ahead of Sytner who is followed closely here by Dean Butler's Walford driven Maserati 8CTF also to qualify ahead of the hard charging spectacular Sytner in E.R.A. R1A,  - another car from the Dean Butler stable.
