Frank Sytner's introduction to driving pre-war racing cars in anger was in (or should it be on) the Dean Butler entered E.R.A. R1A. He was to qualify 6th but the race was a different story. Followed here by Richard Pilkington's Cisitalia D46 Fiat. So post war men can master pre-selector boxes after all.
