Barrie Williams in E.R.A. R3A pressing on for pole at 1:36.037. R3A, now owned by Dick Skipworth was the first of the 2 litre cars, being completed in August 1934. R3A was driven on the public roads to its first meeting at Shelsley Walsh on 29th September that year, Raymond Mays setting FTD at 44 seconds with twin rear wheels fitted for extra traction. |
